AEGIS Hedging Solutions Appoints Ryan Vaile as EVP, Strategy and Corporate Development
The Woodlands, Texas, April 20, 2023 – AEGIS Hedging Solutions (“AEGIS” or “the Company”), a leader in technology and expertise for commodity and environmental markets, today announced the appointment of Ryan Vaile to the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development. With over 25 years of experience in risk management, finance, and energy, Ryan will work with AEGIS’ customers, prospects, and executive team to assess new market entry strategies, corporate partnerships, and potential acquisitions.
Continued volatility in commodity, rate, and environmental markets puts increased pressure on companies whose profits are impacted when those risks are not managed. Ryan was responsible for their origination efforts to generate new business opportunities, acquisitions and establish market recognition. Ryan successfully helped build Phoenician into a well-known and respected aggregator of assets.
Earlier in his career, Ryan worked for Marathon Financial Group (MFG), a registered broker/dealer. Ryan’s role included compliance, as well as acting as principal and agent for conventional and unconventional upstream investments in the energy sector. His previous roles include Vice President of Sales at Icon Identity Solutions, where he participated in an organizational restructuring, redesign and ultimate sale of the company, and Vice President of Aon Corporation, where he partnered with C-level executives in the private equity, healthcare and construction industries to identify risk and develop customized risk management strategies. Ryan graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
